It utilizes a holistic care model for systematic assessment and analyzes wound management and dressing selection principles based on the latest evidence-based guidelines.
The course also incorporates Shared Decision Making (SDM), fostering communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding wound care decisions. Through case-based analysis, students will enhance their competence in managing hard to heal wound care, equipping them with the skills to become proficient, professional nurses in this field.
