🏛️ College of Nursing – Organizational Structure
In August 2024, Tzu Chi University and Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology officially merged to form a new, unified Tzu Chi University, integrating the strengths of general university education and technological-vocational training. This consolidation has enabled the university to offer a comprehensive and diverse range of nursing education programs.
The College of Nursing now encompasses the following divisions and academic tracks:
🔹 Five-Year Junior College Program
◎Designed for students entering after junior high school.
◎Emphasizes foundational nursing education with clinical practice.
🔹 Graduate Institute of Long-Term Care
A research-oriented graduate program focused on the development and delivery of long-term care systems and services.
🔹 Department of Nursing
💉Two-Year Nursing Program
◎Day Division
◎Continuing Education Division
◎Designed for licensed nurses or transfer students pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
💉Four-Year Bachelor’s Program
◎Including both Four-Year Technical College and University Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.
💉 Master’s Program in Nursing
◎Day Division
◎In-Service Division
◎Offers advanced training in clinical nursing and research.
🔹 Post-Baccalaureate Program in Nursing
◎Day Division
◎A second-entry nursing program designed for individuals who already hold a non-nursing bachelor’s degree.
🔹 Basic Medical Sciences Division
◎Provides core biomedical courses—including anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
